When God Is Pronounced Jeezes

By Georgia Diaz

Religious freedom has gifted people the ability to choose sects and believes depending on how comfortable they make them feel. The thought that God is pronounced Jeezes would send shivers down the spines of conservative believers, but that is the current trend and is picking pace across the world. The feeling is that particular sects offer the only truth is common and believers are ready to do anything to defend this stand.

Religion has been debated endlessly all over the world in sessions that have ended up emotionally. Common grounds are rare to find considering the doctrinal differences in religions. With such a scenario in mind, it is only prudent to respect what other people believe and appreciate the difference. This turns religion and belief into a personal affair. No individual should be allowed to force influence on other people.

It is normal and recommended that every individual believes in a supreme being. This is a fulfilling path towards self actualization and awareness. While some people will be satisfied with the thought of following a certain religious belief, others who are a bit inquisitive often find believe unsatisfactory. Their curiosity leads them seek for the answers in numerous places. The answers are not always forthcoming. The search is therefore unfulfilling.

The existence of numerous belief systems makes it unnecessary to force populations to follow a certain doctrine. This makes religious conquest unnecessary. People should not be coerced into joining a sect. Faith should be treated as a personal affair.

Disillusionment with religion has made it necessary to find alternatives in order to fill the gap of a god in personal life. This is common among the inquisitive minds and is a very fascinating scenario. It has made belief a very personal affair. People are not eager or interested in forcing others to follow their line of thought.

Every religious grouping or organization believes that it is the right format and representation of God. A clear divide has emerged between persons who only believe in what is practical and those who view religion as the cause and source of everything in their lives and the world at large. The feeling of emptiness that engulfs a person after fervent prayers and no response pushes people to prefer a practical approach.

The world does not provide answers to all questions. This has forced people to go further and seek alternative paths where love and comfort can be found. Religion does not guarantee a solution or answer to all problems or issues. Human beings are in search of gratification when going for particular encounters. Answers to these questions are found in searching from different ideas.

A scenario where god is pronounced jeezes indicates personalization of religion. Such groups are no longer interested in spreading their religious principles to other people. What the participants seek is personal comfort and happiness. Their legitimacy does not depend on numbers or names. It is strictly a personal affair that does not seek spreading or interfere with other religions.
